Hi there, I'm Paul.
My wife Lisa and I once stood in our yard, amazed, as our dying white oak was brought back to life. We watched the arborists carefully prune and shape it until, little by little, its true form reemerged. The tree reclaimed its rightful place in the world—strong, balanced, and full of life.
At White Oak Consulting, we believe the same principle applies to people and teams. With the right conditions and tools, the potential within a leader and their team can be renewed and revealed. Our work helps leaders bring their teams fully to life—where calling and craft meet to create lasting growth and impact.
When leaders align deeply with their calling and develop mastery in their craft, they become capable of leading transformation far greater than what any one person can achieve alone. And the truth is—they are never alone. They are trusted, respected, and followed. Helping leaders reach that maturity is not just our work—it’s our purpose.

It doesn't have to be lonely at the top.
I know the pain of leading without a team of allies.
My first experience was being told leadership meant “going it alone”—but it never resonated. I soon realized relying only on myself wasn’t sustainable.
One day, a fellow traveler offered another vision: leadership rooted in calling, infused with purpose, and built with colleagues leading together. That moment became the foundation of Leading Teams Well.
Over time, I became a trusted leader in New Orleans, then regionally, and eventually across the U.S. and beyond. Today, as CEO of White Oak Consulting, I focus on one mission: helping leaders build healthy, productive teams that create meaningful, lasting change.
Meet Our Team & Network PartnersÂ
Our team and trusted network partners bring decades of experience – and a shared belief that leadership is both a calling and a craft.
I lead and manage an organization that has one purpose: helping leaders build healthy, productive teams—so they can create the change they’re called to make for themselves, their organizations, and the people they serve. I believe every person has a unique calling. When leaders recognize and align with that calling, they discover the work they are truly meant to do—and the joy of leading teams that thrive.
